Student delegates from the 10th Annual Youth Town Meeting elected WorldLink’s theme for the 2007-2008 academic year. The 11th Annual Youth Town Meeting’s theme is "Untying Global Knots: Corruption, Global Warming, Media Bias and Poverty/Health." Program.

A staff of sixteen student writers from seven different schools in San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico contributed to the production of this unique, bilingual newspaper. The sixteen-page spread details the 11th Annual Youth Town Meeting briefing sessions, plenaries, and delegate responses. 2008 Youth Town Meeting Newspaper.

  • "Teens Go Green at the WorldLink Town Meeting." On Wednesday, Jan 23, 2008, Zealan Hoover (Bishop’s School) and Mark Hargrove (High Tech High International), two of our outstanding WorldLink interns, were featured in Tom Fudge’s "These Days" show on KPBS.

  • "Students Tackle Global Issues." Emi Koch (freshman at George Washington University) and Madeline Wozniak (Cathedral Catholic High), two of our summer interns, were featured on the TV show NBC 7/39.

  • "UT in the Community." An hour-long segment on a new online radio show called "UT in the Community" hosted by Drew Schlosberg, community and public relations manager for The San Diego Union-Tribune featured the 11th Annual Youth Town Meeting on Jan 22.
