January, 2003 – Kathmandu and Gorkha, Nepal

Assessment visit, by invitation, in which four hundred individual meetings with official, civil, and internationals took place to determine how best the IPJ could respond to requests for assistance in resolving the conflict. Assessment team included Karl-Heinz Kraemer, researcher and scholar on Nepal, Karon Cochran, IPJ Program Officer, and Dee Aker, IPJ Deputy Director.
