Peter Kimeu (53) celebrated his 24th year with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) on January 14, 2003. Kimeu has served CRS in different capacities in emergencies, health and development programs, community participation and capacity building, project development, monitoring and evaluation, and justice reflections before being promoted to the position of Director of Governance, Global Solidarity & Partnership.

Outside CRS, Peter is a small-scale farmer, chairman of a Catholic-sponsored girls' school, and serves in several other schools, churches and community related activities and boards.
