The energy and interest around the November elections signal the import of our choices for the future of our nation, indeed, the future of our world. Please join with other concerned citizens for a dialogue about major issues we face.
Registration is required through the Center for Christian Spirituality www.sandiego.edu/theo/ptpcc/ccs/html. Pre-registration is $10; $15 at the door. USD students with valid IDs may attend for free.

Plenary Panel Discussion

This is the second annual Citizen Deliberation held at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice. During morning deliberations, a group of randomly selected San Diego residents will discuss America's role in the world. In the afternoon, the public plenary panel beginning at 2:15pm will focus on U.S. job security and homeland security. While the morning sessions are closed to the general public, the afternoon plenary is open to the public. The goal of this event is to give citizens a chance to express their opinions about issues that are now being considered by local and national policymakers.
