Dr. Kamal Beyoghlow

Professor of International Relations and National Security,
Marine Corps Command and Staff College, VA

 

Dr. Beyoghlow has served as Research Fellow at the U.S. Department of State working on arms control issues and biological and chemical weapons. He is a frequent contributor to the Public Liaison program at the U.S. Department of State where he briefs on U.S. foreign policy. He was a visiting scholar in the Office of former Secretary of Defense, William Perry, at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Arms Control during the last two years. Dr. Beyoghlow served for over six years as a Foreign Affairs Officer in the Office of the U.S. Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the State Department, where he implemented and executed U.S. counterterrorism policy. He has participated in several U.S. diplomatic exchanges, and worked on numerous national security policy problems including the U.S. hostages in Lebanon. His forthcoming book is entitled "The Strategic Implications of Biological and Chemical Weapons."
