Event Parking Information

Due to ongoing construction parking is limited on the USD campus. Please allow plenty of time before an event to locate a parking space and walk or shuttle to the IPJ.  As you enter the campus, you will pass a guard booth. Please stop at the booth to obtain a visitor’s parking permit.  The information below describes where you may park with that permit, depending on the time of day and day of the week.

For events held after 5:00pm, Monday-Friday and on weekends, you may park in any spot not designated 24/7, including “Faculty/Staff” and “Reserved” spaces.

If you arrive before 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, park only in white lined spaces or you may be ticketed and/or towed.

If eligible, there are handicap spots in the IPJ garage.

Plenty of parking is always available in the Lower West Lot located near the campus West entrance. From there you can take a regular campus shuttle to the IPJ which runs Monday-Friday, 7am-midnight. The shuttle does not run on weekends.

Events for which a special “event” shuttle has been designated will be noted. Shuttles will run between the Lower West Lot and the IPJ. Signage will direct you to the West Lot and the Shuttle pick-up location.
